Take steps to prevent further loss to your automobile:

• Attend to injured people

• Do not do anything that negates safety

• If the vehicle is drivable, make sure it is safe to drive...headlights, taillights, and turn signals function properly. If not, temporarily repair these items.

• Take the auto to a repair shop of your choice and get an estimate. In most circumstances, only one estimate is necessary.
